  1. If I could have changes one thing about how I prepared for the debate I would have gotten some graphs and statistics for the debate, I needed some of those for the debate. The opposing teams strongest argument was the personal defense argument and how that Carrying firearms helps protect ones self. 3 ways I can improve my debating is better organization, Knowing my information better and having statistics to back up my statements. The debate could have been better prepared for with more accurate statistics, also the could have stopped getting stuck in side arguments, and we could have had time limits to keep us on topic and moving.

  2. If I could change anything about the debate I would definitely have researched more and would have had graphs and primary source documents to back up the information. The opposing side had many strong arguments but the one that stood out the most and that we seemed to be always going back to was the argument about personal defense, and how carrying fire arms helps to not only protect oneself but others around them. 3 ways I could improve on both the way I prepared for the debate and on how i performed the debate would be organization, knowing the research as if I had years to research it, and of course having statistics to back up the information. The debate could have gone a little better, one way it could have been better is by actually having more than four people doing he debate. The more people there, it often goes more smoothy also the more people there are the more views there are in the debate, everyone brings different views and different information to every debate. As Alex said, we went off in a lot of tangents and side arguments that got us off topic which in time made us run out of what little time we had. It might be a good idea to have time limits like we do in the one minute debates just to help keep things moving and we aren't stuck on one topic.

  3. I would have changed the way I researched info. The strongest argument the opposing side put up was about the Second Amendment. 3 ways in which I could have improved my debate skills by not procrastinating and also by finding more resources. I would have improved by taking more notes. The debate could have improved if we had more people and if we didn't laugh so much and if we concentrated.

  4. If I could, I would have been a lot more organized, physically. I felt that it was hard to jump around when my papers were everywhere. I personally do not remember the debate, so it is hard to say what either side's arguments were. In order to improve, I should work on confidence when speaking and read each piece of information thoroughly so I can speak fluently. Stuttering my words was completely throwing me off. I would have liked to rehearse on my own time, but winging it was still fun. To improve the overall debate, I say more charisma
